Business Meeting There were 35 members present with 10 apologies.

Subscriptionsfor the 2014-2015 season.    The treasurer reported that the surplus carried forward to next year would be about £300 & no change to the annual subscription is recommended.

Committee Elections       The Committee have agreed to co-opt Geoff Phillips as Auditor until the AGM.   He will be standing for election at the AGM, with a change from an annual appointment to a three year tenure. As Bob Ashby has completed his term of office & will not be standing for re-election a replacement secretary is required   The possibility of dividing up the functions of the secretary has been discussed, with the minutes of the meeting being separated from summarizing the talks.   Members are asked to consider volunteering at the next AGM for whole or part of the secretary role.

Members' Lunch. Some dozen members indicated they would attend the next member's lunch, although

members are free to attend on the day without notice.. This is on Wednesday 2nd April 2014 at The Treebridge Hotel at 12:30 for 13:00 lunch. The menu is on the club website, the cost will be £14 per head. The venue for the following lunch on Wednesday 24th Sept. 2014 is The Bay Horse in Hutton Rudby

Stokesley Town Hall       The changes to charging for rooms have been implemented.    The Town Hall will be booked for committee meetings only in May, August, November, January & March.    Between these meetings communications would be conducted by e-mail unless an urgent issue arises requiring an extraordinary meeting. Trips   A trip to Eden Camp has been proposed.   Keith also proposed a visit to the Theatre Royal, Newcastle to see Top Hat at a cost of £37 per person.   Partners would be welcome on trips or theatre visits.   Sufficient members expressed support for these proposals & dates & costs will be circulated later. Photographs      It has been proposed that a photograph of each member would be helpful to members who find difficulty fitting names to faces, it was agreed that this suggestion should be considered at the AGM. The talk at the next meeting on Tuesday, 15th April 2014 is by Malcolm Race & is entitled 'A Half Century in Print'. This will be followed by the Annual General Meeting.
