THE CLUB

The Club

Stokesley Probus Club was formed back in 1986 for people who want to maintain a social network with others with similar interests.

The club meets in Stokesley Town Hall on the third Tuesday of every month except September when the meeting will be on either the second or third Tuesday (to avoid Stokesley fair week). There is also no meeting in December as the club holds its Christmas Lunch instead. (See Calendar webpage for dates)

The club promotes an informal atmosphere and the main objectives are to promote friendship, provide entertainment and generate interest in topics you might not have thought about.

Meetings

Meetings start with tea or coffee between 9.30 and 10.00 o’clock. There is then a brief introduction by our Chairman. This is followed by our guest speaker, with talks lasting between 45 minutes and one hour. Following the talk, we have a short members meeting which provides updates on speakers, outings etc, finishing with the Chairman's  “fun draw!”
